We love our kids!!!!!

Today We got the kids home again and I have to say that is the best feeling in the world. It is so good to hear that they miss and love us but it is so much better when they show us.

At church today they were little angles. We are down to only one activity each for them to do during Sacrament and no snacks or drinks. They are getting so big. They even decided to not do anything but sit next to mommy and listen. We're so proud of them. They know the rules and what is expected of them and are just perfect children.

Just this morning we didn't have to remind them of the schedule when they get home. They went right down stairs, put their shoes away and put away their clean clothes. Then they picked out their church clothes and told mommy they were ready. How precious are they? I now understand why me and my siblings doing stuff like that made mom so happy.

So all in all We Love our Jonathan and Sabrina.

What would I change?

I was asked this question today and thought I would answer it in my blog...

If you could re-do an event in your life, which event would it be?

I'm sure most people would think that I would redo my first marriage, maybe the who, the when or even the why. I would have to say not at all. There were reasons we got married and their names are Jonathan and Sabrina. I love my two children so much and know they will never understand the amount. I will tell you that I did love the Ernie I married but honestly not the one I divorced. I will not lie about that. But unfortunatley lies caused all the problems. Dad taught me at a young age that lying will not work, or save anything. I wish I would have remembered that. All I will say is that if you lie to your spouse about something (for years) that you claim only affects you... you are only lying to yourself.

Anyway back to the question...

To be completely honest I would not change one thing! Everything that I went through as a child, all that I have do up to today has made me the person that I am. I have to say that I am a wonderful wife and mother. I am as independent and as intelligent that my father ever hoped for; and stubborn enough to stay that way. I hope that everyone remembers:

"You are who you are, no more, no less!"

Be thankful and thoughtful of who you are. Don't dwell on the past or look to the future. Be who you are today and you can respect yourself. After all isn't that what matters? I know I can look at myself in the mirror and see me: A STRONG DAUGHTER OF GOD.

So would I re-do anything? NO!!!!

TRUE LOVE

"Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot...
who calls you back when you hang up on him,
who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat,
or will stay awake just to watch you sleep...

Wait for the boy who kisses your forehead,
who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats,
who holds your hand in front of his friends,
who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on.

Love the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares...
and how lucky he is to have you.
The one that will turn to his friend and say, 'that's her!' "
