I'm sitting here at my desk tonight and 3 pictures of three wonderful little boys look back at me. Their names? Jarren, Ethan and Brandon. I haven't met these boys and know that I may never have that opportunity. However as I look at these pictures I can't help but feel a love for them. You see these are Tim's sons. (Jonathan even looks at the pictures and says "these are my big brothers). I have heard stories about what they were like when they were younger. How Jarren likes video games and reading. Stories of the mischief that Ethan would cause. I see the love Tim has for those boys and the regret that he feels. He knows the choices he made has made it so his boys don't know him and may not want to know him...ever. As a mother I can't begin to imagine how that would feel even when I try. I wish that one day these precious boys can see the man Tim has become, the kind of man they needed him to be. He knows that is where he is now but fears that they will never see it and if they do, they won't believe it. I love all the men/boys in my life, the ones with me and the ones that are not. I wish so much for their happiness and safety. All of them
I don't have much of a point just rambling. Their pictures just caught my eye and I wrote. Love you all!!!

Intelligence Validation
So Wednesday night I was working on my scene design ground plot assignment. Jonathan and Sabrina would switch between watching TV with me(Yes I do my homework in front of the TV. It keeps me with my kids), playing in their room and telling Tim all about their day. So anyway Sabrina came out and sat right next to me. She would look at my drawing, watch me measure then look at me. After doing this 4 or 5 times she looks at me and we have the following conversation....
Sabrina: Mommy?
Me : Yes sweetheart?
(I look at her, she smiles and just looks at me for a few seconds.)
Sabrina: You're really smart mommy. Do you think I can be as smart as you?
Me: (After I got over the shock) Of course you can Sabrina. In fact you will probably be even smarter than mommy one day.
Sabrina: Nobody's smarter that you mommy. I glad you go to school like me. I love you.
After that she gave me a hug, a kiss and ran off to play.
Since Jonathan started school this year I started thinking about all the homework I will help him with in the next 13 years. Of course like most parents I started thinking "will I be able to remember everything and know how to help him or will I let him down?" Well I don't know about the future but at least my children think I'm smart now and want to learn from me.
what better Validation of her intelligence does a mother need?

We love our kids!!!!!
Today We got the kids home again and I have to say that is the best feeling in the world. It is so good to hear that they miss and love us but it is so much better when they show us.
At church today they were little angles. We are down to only one activity each for them to do during Sacrament and no snacks or drinks. They are getting so big. They even decided to not do anything but sit next to mommy and listen. We're so proud of them. They know the rules and what is expected of them and are just perfect children.
Just this morning we didn't have to remind them of the schedule when they get home. They went right down stairs, put their shoes away and put away their clean clothes. Then they picked out their church clothes and told mommy they were ready. How precious are they? I now understand why me and my siblings doing stuff like that made mom so happy.
So all in all We Love our Jonathan and Sabrina.
