So I figured it has been long enough and that everyone may appreciate an update.
ME: I am on my second to last semester and can't wait to graduate. For the last few months I have been working on the show "Thoroughly Modern Millie" as Miss Flannery and I am just loving it. The show runs for a few more weeks and closes November 14th. Other than that I have just been working my Mary Kay business and still working in the costume shop at the Mystique Theatre.
TIM: He sat out this semester from school and has taken on the role as Step-Dad while I have been at rehearsals. He and Sabrina are having all sorts of fun making muffins, cookies and brownies.
JONATHAN: Well he has now lost 2 teeth and is working on at least 2 more. He is loving first grade and riding on the bus. One of his highlights has been having his own house key. He is a great big brother (when not trying to get Sabrina in trouble) and loves his new skateboard he bought with his own money.
SABRINA: Kindergarten is just around the corner (at least when you ask her) and she can't wait. She has been the best helper around the house and gets to spend a lot of time with Mommy and Tim since I have a pretty lax school schedule.
HAMPTON: Is our newest family member. He is a 15 wk old Shepard/sharpai cross. He is our baby. Since I've had the 4 miscarriages these last 2 years we thought he may be a good addition.
We are not giving up hope that we may someday have a baby together, but maybe we won't.
I will have to post some Halloween pics after costumes are done. The best will be Tim. He and his best friend Matt are going as Carpet's (from Aladdin) twin brothers. It will be a hoot.
Love you all!

Slip and Slide party
Well since we moved on campus we had to get rid of our pool. So instead we now have a slip and slide. The first day we broke it out the kids decided to go around and invite some of their friends over to play. At first Sabrina would just run down and plop into the pool at the end. By the end of the day she was almost a pro. Jonathan flew from the beginning. Here are some pics.

Question Jar #1
Clever Title Huh?
Describe your Sunday.
Well I have two types of Sundays.
Type 1: With the Kids
I wake up between 6:30 and 7:00 to start to get ready. I'll go turn on the oven to start the sticky rolls so they are cooled off by the time the kids get home. At 7:45 I'll leave to go pick up the kids at the meeting point. (Currently in the parking lot of the police station) Then we head home. The kids will come inside, take their things upstairs and get some breakfast. Then we all get our church clothes on and walk to church. After church we have a sandwich and a nap/rest time. Sunday nights we make sure to do a family activity. Dinner as a family and then a puzzle, game or reading.
Type 2: Without the Kids
I wake up about the same time. Get Tim up about 8:30 so he can get ready for work at 9. I will either drop him off and head straight to church (starts at 9:30) or he'll drive and I'll walk. I get home from church and have a salad and start dinner for that night. Tim gets home after 5 and we have dinner and then go to visit our godchild Ember.
As of right now at Church I play the piano for Relief Society and am the assistant Organist.

Update since May
Well so much for trying to get a post up at least once a month. Things here have been pretty hectic. We had some family fun in June with a visit from Nana (Joyce's Mom). She stayed for a little over a week and got to play and rest. We really loved seeing her and the kids still talk about when Nana was here.
Joyce has been busy working for the Mystique Theatre as a costumer. This local dinner theatre just opened a production of Aladdin. She is absolutely loving her job and can't wait to start working on costumes for Thoroughly Modern Millie. She will also be assistant designer to a least one show at ISU this year and designer for Omar & Victor's Dance performances. Busy, Busy but loving it.
Tim is still working with what he loves - computers - at ISU. He will be going back to school this fall as well. We are doing fun stuff together like bike riding, baseball, and the slip-n-slide with the kids. Poor guy has to cover shifts for people that are on vacation and has slept through half of the summer to work graveyards. However for this "vampire" that's the best shift for him.
Jonathan and Sabrina both decided to play baseball & T-ball this year. Poor Sabrina realized at her 2nd game that she just didn't like it. Mommy convinced her to stay in and just try as hard as she could and she could do something different next year. Well she did and found out that she is pretty good and likes it. (We'll see if she does it again next year). Jonathan had his first year of underhand pitch and is starting to get some power with his bats. That boy can still run (but I think Sabrina just may pass him one day)
All in All our family is doing good. We still have our ups and downs, but we hang in there. Hope this message finds you all happy and healthy.

Memorial Day
Well this memorial weekend we have the kids. It's so good to have them home and smiling. Water fights, rain storms, movies, cookies, popcorn..... what a full weekend and since today's a holiday it's not even over. Our god-child Ember may be coming over today and we have a hike planned if the weather stays good.
Just want to say I Love You and thank you to all of our family and friends that have helped us and stuck with us these past 2 years!!!!!!!!!

SLEDDING 2008
We went sledding at the church. There was the perfect little hill behind it. Later that week we also went up to Bartz Field and went sledding with their friend Luna & Kira! The kids loved it.

Update
Well as you all know it has been quite a long time since my last post. A lot has happened and I'll do my best to catch you all up.
CHRISTMAS
Christmas was a fun time for all of us. The kids woke us up and insisted that we open presents. After presents we had a wonderful breakfast together then had to shovel out the car to get them to Daddy's on time.
January
In January both Tim and I started up at school. I had a full plate of classes. Advanced Costume construction, Advanced Makeup, Advanced Directing and Stage Lighting. (along with a couple of other on top of them) Tim had his Speech class, some math (I got him in a couple of theatre classes) and his weight training and cardio. He's getting so buff. Jonathan also turned 6 this year. He is really excited about kindergarten and is excelling.
February-April
These months were pretty quiet and went by really fast. Our big moment of fun and play was for Tim's birthday. We spent the night out with friends having dinner and playing games. It's so great to have such wonderful friends in our life.
NOW
So this month so far. Let see. I finished all my advanced projects including directing my first full run show. I had such a blast and it was so funny. The kids even had a blast coming with me to rehearsals. I love doing something that I can include the kids with. Tim and I had our finals this week and did really well. Tim had really good grade this semester and I am so proud of him. I also did quite good job with my grades.
Well that's the short story. The pictures I'll be posting will show a lot more.
Love you all!!!!!
